The Title III team oversees supplemental federally funded programs designed to assist English Language Learners (ELLs), including immigrant children and youth, in achieving English proficiency and high levels of academic success in English.
The goal of Title III is to enhance the educational achievement of ELLs by increasing their English language proficiency and ensuring they can meet the same state standards and challenging academic content as all other students.
Title III provides supplemental instructional services, professional development for educators, and encourages participation from parents, families, and the community in educational programs. We work in collaboration with schools and community partners to maximize student outcomes.
